Job summary

E Tech Group in the United States seeks an experienced Program Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team overseeing automation and control system projects for the Great Lakes business unit.

You will manage day-to-day engineering operations, ensure technical accuracy, allocate resources, adhere to SOPs, and drive project delivery excellence to meet strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience.
• 5+ years in a management role.
• Proven ability to perform in a stressful environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed for onsite projects.
• Ability to work in industrial facilities with harsh environments.
• Availability to work weekends/holidays to meet customer commitments.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Group Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers and engineers across electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Manage change and communication within the organization.
• Promote and enforce Safety, Health, and Environment rules and procedures.
• Develop and implement standard work processes, design templates, and engineering best practices.
• Provide guidance to align engineering resources with project needs.
• Forecast staff utilization and identify gaps and risks.
• Coordinate with other business units to maintain utilization and fill skill gaps.
• Oversee project engineering execution from concept through commissioning.
