Job summary

Latino Community Development Agency (LCDA) is seeking a Puerta de Oro Program Assistant/Driver in Oklahoma City to support seniors with transportation, activities, and basic program tasks. The role combines safe driving, participant coordination, and friendly, culturally sensitive service in a community program setting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency to communicate clearly with seniors, families, and staff.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; able to meet LCDA vehicle requirements.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience driving a passenger van or transporting older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an LCDA wheelchair-accessible vehicle for pickups/drop-offs.
• Assist seniors entering/exiting the vehicle and address mobility needs.
• Complete pre/post-trip checks; report vehicle concerns or safety hazards.
• Maintain transportation records and mileage logs; coordinate with LCDA staff and partners.
