Job summary

Postgraduate Center for Mental Health is seeking a Program Director to lead clinical and administrative functions for a residential residence in Brooklyn. You will supervise direct care staff, ensure compliant case management, and maintain regulatory and safety standards.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and crisis-management skills. You will oversee quality assurance, coordinate with health care staff, manage admissions and records, and report to the Regional Director.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health discipline or related field required.
• Minimum five (5) years residential management experience in the mental health field.
• Proven experience in leadership of clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all social/clinical services and building operations.
• Directly supervises program staff and shared clinical staff.
• Maintains contact with on-duty staff 24 hours a day.
• Conducts weekly supervision meetings with staff and case managers.
• Responsible for hiring program staff and ensuring compliance with service plans.
• Integrates Health Care Coordinator with program and case management services.
• Maintains case records and approves admissions/discharges.
• Ensures staff paperwork is completed timely and accurately.
• Leads case conferences and quality assurance programs.
• Manages facility licenses, accreditation, and safety compliance.
• Monitors spending and petty cash, and coordinates with administration.
