SUNY Ulster, a two-year branch of the State University of New York located ninety miles north of New York City in the Catskill Mountains, is currently accepting applications for a Senior Program Coordinator: Advanced Technology, Clean Technology, and Advanced Manufacturing. The Program Coordinator/Director for Advanced Technology oversees the planning, execution, and administrative duties of designing and programming a vast array of advanced technology workforce courses. This position works with multiple academic departments, industry stakeholders, and state agencies to support student pathways into microcredentials, certificates, certifications, and degrees. It assists academic departments in developing new program pathways. The successful candidate will be expected to program a variety of workforce training courses specifically aimed at the growth and economic development of Ulster County. Key responsibilities include coordinating activities, tracking progress, ensuring budgets and schedules are followed, and communicating with stakeholders. This role requires strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, along with familiarity with relevant technology and project management concepts. The Program Coordinator reports to the Assistant Dean of Workforce and Career Development.
An initial starting salary of $56,800 with an excellent benefits package. This position is contingent upon adequate funding.
