Job summary

Weris, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Program Control Analyst to support the financial and operational management of our growing portfolio of government programs.

This hands-on role requires strong government contracting experience and effective collaboration across program management, finance, contracts, and corporate operations. The successful candidate will provide timely, accurate information to support project execution and informed business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in government contracting.
  • PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple government contracts, projects, or task orders.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, funding, ETC/EAC, burn rates, and variance analysis expertise.
  • Familiarity with IDIQ/task-order environments and government contract structures.
  • Experience with FFP, T&M, and/or cost-reimbursement contracts.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial and operational controls across government contracts and task orders.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Monitor project expenditures, funding, burn rates, and financial performance.
  • Prepare ETC and EAC analyses.
  • Monitor contract funding, periods of performance, labor categories, and other key project requirements.
  • Assist Program Managers in understanding project financial status and emerging issues.
  • Analyze budget-to-actual performance and investigate variances.
  • Support project staffing and labor planning.
  • Assist with subcontractor financial monitoring and coordination.
  • Support invoice review and reconciliation with Finance/Accounting.
  • Maintain accurate program-control data and management reports.
  • Support new project/task-order setup and closeout activities.
  • Develop and improve standardized program-control processes, templates, and reporting.
  • Provide timely program-level and portfolio-level information to management.
  • Collaborate with Program Management, Finance, Contracts, HR, and executive leadership.

Summary

The successful candidate will provide program managers and company leadership with timely, accurate information to support effective project execution and business decisions .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Analyze budget-to-actual performance and investigate significant variances.
  • Support project staffing and labor planning.
  • Assist with subcontractor financial monitoring and coordination.
  • Support invoice review and reconciliation in coordination with Finance/Accounting.
  • Maintain accurate program-control data and management reports.
  • Support new project/task‑order setup and project closeout activities.
  • Develop and improve standardized program-control processes, templates, and reporting.

Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience, with significant experience in the government contracting industry.
  • PMP or other relevant professional certification preferred
  • Experience supporting multiple government contracts, projects, or task orders.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, funding, ETC/EAC, burn rates, and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with federal government contract structures, including IDIQ/task‑order environments.
  • Experience working with FFP, T&M, and/or cost‑reimbursement contracts.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial and program information effectively to Program Managers and senior management.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple corporate functions.
