Under supervision of senior staff, you will assist with data preparation, validation, analysis, visualization, and reporting using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel. You will communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics.
  • Strong Excel, data cleaning, and modeling skills.
  • Experience with SQL and Python for data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, prepare, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.

Summary

Weris is seeking a Data Analyst to support data-driven projects and initiatives through data analysis, reporting, visualization, and analytical modeling. This position will work with complex datasets to identify trends, evaluate performance, develop insights, and support informed decision-making.

Working under the guidance of senior technical staff and project leadership, the Data Analyst will assist with data preparation, validation, analysis, visualization, and reporting. The position offers opportunities to work with a variety of analytical tools and technologies while contributing to the development of dashboards, models, automated processes, and other data-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. This position will be working alongside and learning from a qualified technical team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Collect, prepare, validate , and analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources to support project objectives and organizational decision-making.
  • Conduct trend, performance, comparative, predictive, and scenario-based analyses to identify patterns, anomalies, and key insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Develop, maintain , and enhance recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, visualizations, and briefing materials using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting platforms.
  • Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to understand analytical requirements, translate business questions into actionable analyses, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Respond to data requests and deliver timely analytical support for project planning, performance monitoring, program evaluation, and decision-making activities.
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain analytical models, methodologies, and statistical techniques used to evaluate performance, trends, relationships, risks, and potential outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, analytical methods, assumptions, calculations, and results to ensure transparency, consistency, and reproducibility.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of data collection, analysis, reporting, and visualization processes.
  • Support the design, development, and use of automated data processing, reporting, and business intelligence solutions to enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Explore, evaluate, and support the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other emerging technologies to improve analytics, reporting, and decision support functions.
  • Participate in project meetings, working groups, and cross-functional initiatives, and support the evaluation and testing of new analytical tools, technologies, and approaches in accordance with organizational requirements.
Qualifications- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of previous applicable experience
  • Strong Excel skills, including advanced data analysis, charting, and analytical model development.
  • Experience using SQL and Python, including libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, to query, process, and analyze datasets.
  • Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, modeling, and techniques for identifying and evaluating performance trends.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and AI-assisted analytics or automation tools is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze complex or imperfect data and develop well-supported conclusions.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to technical, non-technical, and leadership audiences.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a project-based environment while managing multiple priorities.
