Job summary

Chimera in Colorado is seeking a Senior Program Control Analyst to provide expert budget, acquisition, and financial management support for OPIR and persistent GEOINT programs. You will partner with program managers and government analysts to defend budget strategies, evaluate proposals, and deliver decision-quality financial analyses for senior leadership.

The role requires deep IC acquisition process knowledge, strong analytical skills, and active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement with extensive IC/DoD acquisition exposure.
• 18+ years of directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 12+ years of experience supporting IC/DoD acquisition programs.
• End-to-end IC acquisition process knowledge and financial modeling.
• Experience delivering decision-quality budget analyses to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level budgetary and financial management expertise for space and ground systems.
• Navigate IC/DoD budget processes and translate into actionable information for leadership.
• Analyze resource apportionment and optimize allocation strategies.
• Support source selection, including cost and realism assessments.
• Prepare funding projections based on strategic priorities and budgets.
• Review funding requests for completeness and accuracy; help prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Develop budget spend plans and financial models informing program performance.
