Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a proactive Program Area Administrator to support the Research and Exploration Program Areas within RED MA. You will manage calendars, travel, meetings, and communications while coordinating with sponsors, leadership, and staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and 6+ years of relevant professional-level experience or a High School Diploma and 10+ years of relevant professional-level experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to interface with sponsors, leadership, and staff with tact and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide wide-ranging administrative support across RED Program Areas, including calendar management, travel, and budget tracking.
• Coordinate information flow with sponsors, leadership, and VIPs; manage meetings and logistics for internal/external events.
• Prepare and edit draft documents and presentations, ensuring security procedures are followed.
• Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and support security procedures as required.
