Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and six months experience with children in educational, fitness, arts and crafts and other activities in a similar environment, with some supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Infant/Child CPR Certification
• Valid state driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assists in training employees in the proper policies and procedures related to children’s play care activities.
• Provides constant care for the needs of the children in a safe and healthy manner.
• Organizes and implements program services and activities for children; provides periodic activity reports.
• Supervises children during recreational and athletic activities; monitors playground safety.
• Participates in staff meetings to maintain awareness of program activities.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of facilities and grounds.
