Job summary

IGT in Reno, NV seeks a Production Test Technician III to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic, mechanical, and integrated assemblies, collaborating with Quality Assurance and Engineering to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

This role requires 3–8 years in manufacturing test support, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• 3-8 years in manufacturing test support, electronics testing, or related environment.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to train team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing, test, and system-level issues in electronic/mechanical assemblies.
• Perform setup, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of production test equipment.
• Test and validate assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and execute test methods, procedures, and specifications from drawings/schematics.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality.
• Perform rework and repairs on assemblies based on test results.
• Document test results and corrective actions.
• Support production operations by resolving complex technical issues and maintaining line performance.
• Assist with test equipment setup and provide technical guidance to production teams.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escalate complex issues as needed to meet objectives.
