Job summary

Netflix’s Vine Studios in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Production Technology Engineer to deliver hands-on technical support for productions, troubleshoot in real time, and maintain performance across specialty rooms and edit bays.

You will translate complex tech issues for creative and production teams, partner with Media Systems and Production Engineering, and help evolve tools and workflows for post-production pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in production or post engineering at a post production facility or studio.
• Deep knowledge of production and post workflows including non-linear editing, color science, VFX and audio mastering.
• Familiarity with 2D and CG animation pipelines.
• Experience with leading industry tools such as Avid, Adobe Premiere, Foundry, SyncSketch.
• Ability to translate complex issues into clear guidance for creative/stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support across Vine Studios’ specialty rooms and edit bays.
• Troubleshoot and resolve real-time production issues and escalate when needed.
• Contribute to root cause analysis to reduce repeat incidents and improve support efficiency.
• Collaborate with production executives, editors and creatives to anticipate issues.
• Support facility projects including room refreshes and edit bay upgrades.
• Work with engineering to evolve tools and workflows for production pipelines.
• Coordinate with VFX managers to provide pipeline and color workflow guidance.
