Job summary

SNC is seeking a Production Technician II for Sparks, NV. The role involves assembling complex electronic and mechanical components, performing quality inspections, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining tools.

You will train junior technicians and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years in manufacturing or related fields, and experience with schematics and assembly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment.
• Prior experience with electronic and/or mechanical assemblies.
• Basic assembly, soldering and connectors skills.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies per diagrams and drawings.
• Perform quality inspections and tests on assembled products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic assembly issues.
• Maintain and calibrate assembly tools and equipment.
• Document and report production activities and discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior production technicians.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
