Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking an on-site Technician I in Sparks, NV to maintain production machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with troubleshooting and repair. This role also includes operator responsibilities and working closely with production staff to ensure equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate has English fluency, basic education, and a couple of years in production/manufacturing, with exposure to MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic/Required: Some high school education; Preferred: HS diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Check settings, gauge readings, and sensors regularly to keep machines operating at proper specifications.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines according to documented requirements.
• Make continuing visual and audible observations of the machines to detect any abnormalities.
• Tighten bolts and inspect belts and chains for wear to maintain proper tensions.
• Perform simple machinist duties such as cleaning, lubrication, oil changes and part swaps.
• Restore machines to correct operating functions and adjust as needed.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all work performed on equipment.
