Job summary

Panduit is seeking a Sr. Production Technician to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced manufacturing equipment, while completing work orders in our Chicago-area facility.

You will apply lean tools for continuous improvement and collaborate with engineering and quality teams. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of manufacturing experience; you will set up new processes, monitor performance, address quality issues, and help reduce waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skills for advanced machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail, math aptitude, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting of advanced production equipment.
• Execute production work orders and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with engineering to document procedures and support continuous improvement.
• Address quality issues and escalate unresolved concerns.
• Identify waste and participate in Kaizen events and A3 projects.
