Job summary
Panduit is seeking a Sr. Production Technician in the Chicago area to join a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
You will set up and troubleshoot advanced production equipment, operate processes to deliver high-quality products, and support process improvements with engineering teams. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 5+ years in manufacturing, strong troubleshooting and math skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of related manufacturing experience.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced machinery and assemblies.
- Strong attention to detail, math skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Troubleshooting: Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize advanced production equipment.
- Operate and monitor machinery to produce high-quality finished products.
- Collaborate with engineering to evaluate processes and create training materials.
- Address production quality issues and escalate as needed.
- Identify inefficiencies and participate in Kaizen events.
