Carbon is seeking a Senior Production Systems/Test Engineer to join our Santa Clara, CA office. You will lead troubleshooting of end-of-line systems and develop robust bring-up processes to improve efficiency and product quality.

The role focuses on building repeatable testing infrastructure, partnering with cross-functional teams, and ensuring every product meets Carbon's exacting standards. This full-time in-office position offers competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering; hardware and software background preferred.
• 6+ years in manufacturing; ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electro-mechanical and optical systems.
• Experience building KPI dashboards and applying statistical tools.
• Strong cross-functional communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own root cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical and optical systems.
• Serve as a key technical resource for the production floor to unblock issues.
• Partner with Design, Systems, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for manufacturing KPIs.
• Lead Product Validation Testing (PVT) for new products.
• Translate findings into updated work instructions and process documentation.
