Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Senior Production Systems & Manufacturing Engineer to architect how space vehicles are built at scale. Based in Denver or LA, you will own the factory design, production strategy, and digital factory stack to move from low-rate builds to high-rate production.

You will define the production roadmap, capacity models, and automation strategy while integrating MES, ERP and PLM to support efficient, traceable manufacturing. Space experience is not required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in manufacturing, industrial or production engineering on complex hardware.
• Architected and launched at least one large-scale production system and brought it to stable rate.
• Background in high-rate environments: automotive/EV, batteries, aerospace, defense, semiconductors or medical devices.
• Deep command of layout, flow, takt, lean and DFMA.

Responsibilities

• Multi-year production roadmap: rate targets, ramp phases and investments.
• Capacity, takt, cycle time, staffing, WIP and cost-per-unit models for leadership decisions.
• Factory architecture and layout for a new Denver site from concept to commissioning.
• Automation strategy, balancing manual flexibility with automation at this rate.
• MES, ERP, PLM and traceability architecture.
• Integrating test flows so test never constrains production.
