Job summary

CIBC in Chicago is seeking an Application Support professional to investigate and resolve client and technical issues across internal and external apps. You will coordinate with technology groups and vendors to keep production environments stable and compliant.

This role follows a hybrid work arrangement, requiring onsite presence at least two days per week, with remote work possible on other days. 3–5 years of experience with Hyperion, Essbase, ITIL/ServiceNow, and MaxL scripting is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Application Support experience with Hyperion architecture and Essbase cubes.
• Experience with ITIL/ServiceNow, MaxL scripting, and patching workflows.
• Familiarity with public cloud tech such as Azure and RBAC concepts.
• Understanding of regulatory and risk considerations in finance.

Responsibilities

• Provide investigation and second-level support for client and technical issues.
• Manage production applications, escalations, and outages with cross‑team coordination.
• Maintain documentation, audit responses, and change management processes.
• Liaise with business and technology partners to ensure alignment and improvements.
