Job summary

Nagarro is seeking a Senior Production Support Engineer for their New York trading technology team. You will sit near the front office, owning incidents from detection to resolution to maintain platform stability during US market hours.

You will collaborate with traders, PMs and infra, focusing on high-severity issues, improving monitoring, and driving permanent resolutions. This is a hands-on, high-impact role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in Production Support or Trading Systems.
• Strong front-office trading workflow knowledge.
• Experience with FIX protocol and order flow troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for diagnostics and automation.
• Experience with AWS or cloud-hosted production environments.
• Ability to lead major incident management and post-incident reviews.

Responsibilities

• Act as the L3 escalation point for production issues impacting trading systems and front-office users.
• Investigate and resolve complex incidents across trading apps, market data, FIX, and platform services.
• Support portfolio managers and trading teams during market hours.
• Diagnose order flow, execution and trade lifecycle issues; drive permanent fixes.
• Analyze logs and metrics; collaborate with dev/infrastructure to find root causes.
• Improve monitoring, runbooks, automation, and operational tooling.
• Lead incident communications and post-release validation during outages.
