Job summary

DCCA is a veteran-owned high-technology company delivering IT services to government agencies and commercial clients since 1982. We are hiring a Production Support Analyst to monitor production systems, identify root causes, and coordinate resilient resolutions.

In this role you will work with Business and Technology stakeholders, document issues, and contribute to process improvements while supporting SDLC lifecycle activities in Maryland. A public trust or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a software engineer, tester, or analyst supporting multi-tier web-based solutions.
• 6+ years in technical disciplines (architecture, process re-engineering, development, verification).
• Experience with HTTP and RESTful design patterns for web apps.
• Ability to query relational databases for production analysis.
• Strong collaboration within Agile teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production issues, defects, service requests to determine root cause and resolution.
• Coordinate resolution of production issues.
• Communicate with Business and Technology stakeholders.
• Document root cause and production support knowledge base.
• May participate in User Acceptance and End to End testing, including planning, preparation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Provide other support to production systems and new development by coordinating efforts and sharing knowledge.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement to increase efficiency and quality.
• Manage service delivery governance to support core application development teams in SDLC.
• Establish and manage application health checks in production environments.
