Job summary

MP Materials in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a large team in transforming raw materials into finished rare earth magnets in a 24/7 facility. The role requires hands-on leadership, scheduling, and a focus on quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in industrial manufacturing, experience training operators, and a strong background in Lean and 5S, ISO 9001/IATF 16949, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and training operators.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience in Quality Systems ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949.
• Hands‑on approach to identifying and solving problems.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with multiple priorities.
• ERP experience and fluency in Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage work of manufacturing operators to ensure on-time completion of each step.
• Focus on managing production of pressing, finishing, sintering, machining, passivation, cleaning, packaging, and inspection.
• Monitor labor efficiencies and redeploy labor to meet production schedule.
• Monitor processes to assure yields and quality standards.
• Manage performance to KPIs and track additional leading metrics.
• Partner with Production Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality for improvements and corrective actions.
• Participate in CIP projects such as Kaizens.
