Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles, a Terex Corporation subsidiary, is seeking a supervisor for its metal fabrication department. The role requires directing daily assignments, onboarding new hires, coaching staff, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate degree or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years in supervision within metal fabrication or vehicle production environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and manufacturing experience.
• Five+ years in supervision or leading teams in a manufacturing operation in metal fabrication or machine shop.
• Five+ years’ experience in vehicle production, metal fabrication or custom manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct daily assignments of hourly personnel to meet schedule commitments and cycle time requirements.
• Onboard and train new hires; ensure onboarding and training of new hires; enforce policies and attendance.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching for assigned hourly production personnel.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance; stop production if required to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with Materials, Engineering, Sales Administration, Product Management for root cause and corrective actions.
• Maintain equipment and tooling; participate in daily management meetings and document changes.
