Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing activities, optimize material flow, and drive schedules in a multi-functional setting. You will develop SOPs, train staff, and manage performance reviews to support divisional goals and contractual requirements.

You will oversee budgets, lead master production scheduling, and ensure adherence to policies like ESD and safety while coordinating with engineering, purchasing and quality teams for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Material and Production Control technology.
• 5+ years supervisory/managerial experience in Military or Aerospace Electronic Manufacturing.
• 2+ years hands-on material/production control and stockroom in electronics manufacturing.
• 2 years hands-on experience with MRP.
• Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints, schematics, drawings, parts lists, SOWs and specs.
• Team player with ability to interact with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and engineering.
• Proficient in MS Office and other computer peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates data from sales orders, budgets, product specs and flow to optimize scheduling of parts, materials, machines and operations.
• Develops and maintains the master manufacturing schedule.
• Maintains material delivery schedules to meet delivery dates.
• Maintains production budgets and material estimates-to-complete.
• Distributes work orders to functions with unit counts and completion targets.
• Resolves problems affecting production and delivery schedules with cross-functional teams.
• Enforces company policies including ESD, contamination control, traceability and safety.
