Overview

The Sr. Production Supervisor is responsible for hiring, training, and performance management of production employees at the Azusa Manufacturing Plant. The role involves scheduling and supervising production through Machine Operators and temporary workers, implementing process improvements, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

Work Shift

2nd shift on-site, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, M-F. Weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Implement operational excellence using lean manufacturing techniques.
• Design and execute plans to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and reduce costs.
• Supervise, develop, and coach production staff.
• Develop training and certification programs for new employees.
• Foster innovation within the team.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Recruit and mentor employees.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate production scheduling and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and materials teams for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a positive, hardworking attitude.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
• 5+ years managing production teams.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Proven track record of increasing responsibilities and results.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with high-mix/high-volume automated assembly.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Technical degree with MBA or similar.
• Experience working with engineering, supply chain, logistics, or quality teams.
• Previous managerial experience in manufacturing.

Salary range in California: $116,226 - $174,339, including base and bonus. Exact compensation varies by skills and experience.
