Job summary

3A Composites USA, a leading manufacturer of substrates for graphics and architecture, seeks a Senior Production Planner/Scheduler to align customer demand with production capacity and materials in a high-paced facility. You will coordinate across functions to ensure accurate planning data and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong attention to detail, SAP proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in related field preferred; production planning, scheduling, inventory control experience considered.
• Minimum of five years in production planning, scheduling, inventory control or related manufacturing function preferred.
• Experience planning and scheduling production across multiple lines in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP experience with production planning, inventory control, material setup, production orders, purchase requisitions, and sales order acknowledgement preferred.
• Power BI experience to review and use dashboards or reports for planning and decision-making preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed production schedules based on orders, inventory, capacity and priorities.
• Review sales orders, confirm material requirements, and create purchase requisitions for raw materials.
• Convert planned orders into production orders in SAP and set realistic lead times in coordination with Customer Service and Production.
• Monitor schedule progress daily and adjust plans to ensure on-time delivery and minimize disruption.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to expedite materials and critical items for production.
• Maintain accurate SAP transactions related to production orders, material setup, inventory movements, and requisitions.
• Support inventory accuracy through counts, cycle counts, and finished goods reviews.
• Process shipping and production-related documentation and report on operations.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve scheduling issues and prioritize customer orders.
• Provide guidance to improve scheduling practices, material planning, and inventory utilization.
