Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Production Control Planner/Scheduler III to manage production activities across multiple programs in North Alabama. You will lead planning, monitor work orders, and ensure ERP data accuracy using Costpoint.

The role requires 3+ years in production planning, experience with ERP/MRP, and the ability to work cross-functionally. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and scheduling in defense/aerospace environments.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Deltek Costpoint preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning across multiple projects, balancing capacity, materials and schedule.
• Monitor and control work order execution and resolve shortages and conflicts.
• Interpret and execute MRP action messages to adjust procurement and scheduling.
• Develop and maintain production schedules and Line of Balance charts.
• Provide ERP data accuracy and generate leadership dashboards.
• Mentor junior planners and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and government regulations.
