Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing in North Alabama seeks a Production Control Planner/Scheduler III to lead production control across multiple programs, manage schedules, monitor work orders, and resolve material conflicts.

You will mentor junior planners, ensure ERP data accuracy (Deltek Costpoint), and generate dashboards for leadership while driving continuous improvement and compliance with AS9100 and government regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a Masters with 2–6 years.
3+ years in production planning/scheduling or warehousing.
Strong ERP/MRP knowledge, Deltek Costpoint preferred.
Experience interpreting MRP action messages in an ERP.
Proven scheduling and cross-functional collaboration in defense/aerospace.

Responsibilities

Lead production planning across multiple projects balancing capacity, material, and schedule.
Monitor work orders and resolve shortages and changes.
Interpret MRP messages to adjust procurement and releases.
Develop and maintain production schedules and LOB charts.
Provide cross-functional input in program management meetings.
Ensure ERP data accuracy across programs (Deltek Costpoint).
Generate leadership reports and updates.
Mentor junior planners.
Support continuous improvement of planning processes.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and government regulations.
