Job summary

Harting Technology Group is seeking a Production Planning professional to develop and maintain production plans, monitor performance, and drive optimization across manufacturing operations. The role collaborates with Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Sales to ensure on-time delivery.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, several years of production planning experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in SAP and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field.
• Several years of experience in Production Planning, Production Control, Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing Operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Branch experience in Automotive.
• Knowledge of production planning methods, capacity planning, MRP and inventory management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.

• Ensure optimal utilization of personnel, machines and production resources.
• Support cost control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, Quality, Engineering and Sales.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Monitor adherence to production targets, quality standards and delivery commitments.
• Support S&OP and capacity planning processes.
• Identify risks impacting production schedules and develop mitigation plans.
