Cesna Recruitment is seeking a Production Control professional to develop and manage production plans and schedules aligned with customer demand, plant capacity, and material availability.

You will monitor performance, delivery requirements, and inventory while coordinating with Production, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Logistics. Ensure accurate use of SAP, MES, and ERP/MRP systems to support planning and control.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Production Control, Planning, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations.
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer requirements.
  • Monitor actual production against plan and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Identify capacity constraints, material shortages, equipment issues, and delivery risks.
  • Develop recovery plans when production schedules are at risk.
  • Communicate production priorities and schedule changes to relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with Materials and Purchasing to resolve shortages and supplier issues.
  • Monitor WIP and finished goods inventory levels and support reduction efforts.
  • Maintain accurate production orders and planning data in SAP, MES, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Verify production quantities, inventory transactions, and production confirmations.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies between system and actual production.
  • Monitor customer schedules and delivery requirements; coordinate corrective actions.
  • Track KPIs like schedule attainment, WIP, inventory, downtime, and on-time delivery.
  • Support flow, lead-time, and capacity improvement activities.

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Control is responsible for developing and managing production plans and schedules based on customer demand, plant capacity, material availability, equipment, and labor.


This position monitors production performance, customer delivery requirements, inventory, and production-related data while coordinating with Production, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Logistics. Also, this position Assist Manager to ensure accurate use of SAP, MES, and ERP/MRP systems to support production planning and control.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Planning & Scheduling


  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer requirements.

  • Monitor actual production against plan and adjust schedules as needed.

  • Identify capacity constraints, material shortages, equipment issues, and delivery risks.

  • Develop recovery plans when production schedules are at risk.

  • Communicate production priorities and schedule changes to relevant departments.


Material & Inventory Control


  • Monitor material availability against production requirements.

  • Coordinate material shortages and supplier issues with Materials and Purchasing.

  • Monitor WIP and finished goods inventory levels.

  • Support inventory reduction while maintaining production continuity.


System & Data Management


  • Maintain accurate production orders and planning data in SAP, MES, and ERP/MRP systems.

  • Verify production quantities, inventory transactions, and production confirmations.

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between system data and actual production.


Customer Delivery & Performance


  • Monitor customer schedules and delivery requirements.

  • Identify potential delivery risks and coordinate corrective actions.

  • Monitor key KPIs including schedule attainment, WIP, inventory, downtime, shortages, and on-time delivery.

  • Support production flow, lead-time, and capacity improvement activities.


Cross-Functional Coordination


  • Coordinate production requirements with Production, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Logistics.

  • Support new product launches, engineering changes, planned shutdowns, and production recovery activities.

  • Escalate significant production or customer issues to Plant Management.


TEAM LEADERSHIP


  • Establish work priorities and monitor departmental performance.

  • Provide training and cross-training as required.


SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS


  • Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory control.

  • ERP/MRP experience; SAP and MES experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production reporting tools.

  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in Production Control, Production Planning, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations preferred.

  • Supervisory or management experience preferred.

  • Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
