Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Staff Production Planner and Scheduler to join our Aeronautics Systems team in Clearfield, Utah. The role focuses on planning and controlling production schedules, coordinating materials, and ensuring a smooth workflow across departments to meet program needs.

Required are a Bachelor's degree with 12+ years (or equivalent combinations) and a Secret clearance; proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRП/ERP systems is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or manufacturing and/or production control; or Master’s Degree and 10+ years in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or PhD and 8+ years in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering; or in lieu of degree, 16 years of experience in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or manufacturing and/or production control may be accepted.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Active U.S Government security clearance at the Secret level
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access
• Production scheduling experience
• MRP/ERP experience

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules to meet production requirements.
• Advise management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity and move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests to ensure on-time delivery.
