Job summary

HYDAC International is seeking a Production Planner to join our manufacturing operations in Bethlehem, PA. The role focuses on reviewing forecasts and creating production schedules to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with sales, logistics, and manufacturing to align resources with demand. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of production planning experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning.
• Experience with SAP or MRP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for sales, logistics, and manufacturing.
• Collaborate to establish schedules and allocate resources to meet customer needs.
• Compare orders with inventory and anticipate demand for materials.
• Coordinate availability of materials, equipment, and staff to meet delivery dates.
• Maintain master distribution schedule and alert staff to changes or delays.
• Lead periodic forecast meetings and planning sessions with relevant departments.
• Supervise and develop Production Planner/Schedulers in the location.
• Recruit, hire, and retain production planning staff.
