Job summary

Cook Compression, a Dover Precision Components brand, is seeking a Senior Production Planner or Production Planner at our Jeffersonville, Indiana facility. The role collaborates across production, supply chain, and engineering to create and manage the master production plan.

Responsibilities include forecasting, scheduling, adjusting routings, coordinating with open-order reports, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining data accuracy in routing & BOMs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in production planning within manufacturing environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to forecast and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, forecast, schedule, and manage the master production plan across functions.
• Interface with cross-functional departments to meet customer demands and advise on delays/issues.
• Analyze forecast and capacity to adjust the production plan and drive smoothing where possible.
• Maintain routing and BOM data accuracy and support data corrections.
• Monitor order flow and communicate changes to schedules with stakeholders.
• Close job orders daily for assigned value streams and manage scrap adjustments.
• Support weekly/monthly cycle count goals.
