Job summary

The Senior Production Planner at Abcam, a Danaher operating company, will develop and manage daily to monthly production schedules in Waltham, MA, ensuring optimal use of materials, labor and equipment while meeting customer demand and inventory requirements. You will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to prioritize orders and drive improvements.

You will analyze KPIs, investigate planning issues, and implement corrective actions to improve on-time delivery and overall supply chain

Qualifications

Degree or masters in related discipline.
5 years’ experience in production and material planning.
Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP planning modules.
Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and multi-task.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules balancing demand, materials, labor and equipment to meet customer needs.
Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvements in planning processes.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize orders and resolve constraints.
Lead root cause investigations for planning and supply issues.
Manage changes in planning via Oracle and other ERP systems.
