Job summary

Bearings Plus is seeking a Senior Production Planner to forecast, schedule, and coordinate production in our Houston facility. You will manage capacity planning, align labor and materials to demand, and drive on-time delivery while optimizing inventory levels.

The role requires strong scheduling experience in machining environments, proficiency with Syteline ERP, and collaboration with sales and operations to meet customer commitments. Onsite position in Houston, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in production scheduling in machine shops and/or manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience in Rough Cut Capacity Planning, Capacity Management, and execution to Master Production Schedule.
• Direct experience procuring products and components and maintaining supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide production forecasting, coordination, and planning based on customer demand.
• Manage Rough Cut Capacity Planning & Capacity Management; align labor, material, and machinery to demand.
• Set and maintain ERP settings in Syteline and inventory policies to optimize capacity and flow.
• Develop reports, explain variances, and present improvement plans.
• Interface with sales and operations to align lead times and schedules.
• Monitor labor hours, materials, and due dates to meet delivery projections.
