Job summary

Black Bear Talent is seeking a Senior Production Manager to lead a multi-site manufacturing operation, overseeing production, warehousing, fulfillment, and maintenance. You will provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output while driving throughput and cost performance improvements across two facilities.

The role requires proven capability in leading production teams, optimizing processes, and using ERP/MRP systems to maintain visibility

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving operational performance in manufacturing.
• Strong industrial/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience using ERP or MRP systems for production visibility and decisions.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple teams with measurable outcomes.
• Proven ability to lead leaders and build high-performing teams.
• Experience overseeing equipment reliability, facilities, and maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of quality systems in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production, warehousing, and fulfillment across two facilities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and output targets.
• Hold site leaders accountable for performance metrics and production schedules.
• Drive alignment between facilities and departments to eliminate delays and improve flow.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by optimizing lines and workflows.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce waste.
• Standardize processes and implement best practices across both sites.
• Develop strong site leadership by coaching managers to lead their areas.
