Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Salt Lake City seeks a Production Operations Manager 3 to lead an integrated operations team spanning Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Configuration Management, Production Control and Mission Assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8 years’ experience or Master’s with 6 years.
• Experience managing an engineering or highly technical manufacturing project.
• Experience in project management (cost, schedule, quality).
• Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management (RSKOM).
• Experience working in a multi-team environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as manufacturing liaison to program management for manufacturing strategy.
• Lead program reviews with internal/external customers on technical, cost and schedule performance.
• Oversee product development, manufacturing, test, global supply chain, and mission assurance activities.
• Develop action plans to meet productivity, quality and stakeholder goals.
• Coordinate material planning and master production scheduling for delivery.
