Job summary

KanPak, a Golden State Foods company, is seeking a Planning Supervisor to lead production planning and material management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will supervise Material Planners, balance supply and demand, and ensure materials meet production schedules and customer needs.

You will develop the weekly master production schedule, optimize inventory levels, and collaborate with suppliers and plant leadership using ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• MS Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems in an ERP environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the daily activities of the Material Planning team.
• Develop and manage the weekly master production schedule.
• Adjust production plans and communicate updates to operations teams.
• Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and material availability.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Collaborate with suppliers and plant leadership.
• Prepare and participate in planning meetings.
• Support trial runs and continuous improvement efforts.
