Zipline in South San Francisco, CA, seeks a Production Materials Manager to own the strategy, people, processes, and systems ensuring material readiness for high‑rate manufacturing.

You’ll lead warehouse operations and line‑side logistics, partnering with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Facilities to design scalable material flow that supports exponential growth while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in warehouse ops, manufacturing logistics, or production materials.
• 4+ years leading teams and frontline leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Materials leadership team and develop talent.
• Build high-performing organization through hiring, performance management, succession planning, and employee development.
• Architect scalable warehouse, replenishment, inventory management and internal logistics systems for 10x–100x growth.
• Define KPIs, dashboards, operating rhythms, labor and capacity planning.
• Partner with software teams to define tools for inventory visibility and material flow.
• Oversee receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, line-side replenishment, internal logistics, and finished goods movement.
