Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Manchester, NH seeks a Production Manager - 1st Shift (Mon-Fri) to lead and optimize all production and materials activities from planning through shipment.

You will drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements, manage multi-shift operations, and partner with Planning, Purchasing and Finance to meet delivery, cost, and quality goals in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years direct manufacturing and production supervision experience.
• Experience with SMT processes (reflow, wave soldering) and through-hole tech.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Oracle or SAP).
• Strong leadership and staffing development abilities.
• Familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100/ITAR compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations across assigned areas, ensuring production, quality, safety, schedule adherence, and cost objectives are met.
• Establish daily, weekly, and monthly production build plans based on material availability, production capacity, priorities, and customer commitments.
• Own material flow and availability for the production floor; coordinate with purchasing/stockroom to ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Stockroom, Test, Maintenance, Program Management, and Finance to allocate resources and resolve constraints.
• Lead manpower planning, staffing decisions, and development for production teams and supervisors.
• Implement Lean/Six Sigma improvements to improve yields, reduce cycle time, and raise manufacturing expertise.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and ITAR where applicable.
• Monitor and report key metrics and contribute to budget planning.
• Set production schedules and ECDs for backlog orders; participate in contract reviews for new orders.
