Job summary

Nikkiso is seeking a Production Manager for its Santa Ana, CA facility. You will oversee production/assembly teams, drive schedules, safety, and quality, and work with Safety, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement to meet targets.

You will implement Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen principles to optimize efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high quality. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/manufacturing/industrial engineering and 10+ years in manufacturing operations.
• Minimum 5 years in a management role.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective team leadership during change and ramp-up in production.
• Direct production activities in high-precision manufacturing to meet specifications.
• Develop system-level/strategic solutions to optimize efficiency, safety, and cost.
• Coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, and Procurement to develop schedules.
• Drive KPI performance across production and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Maintain budgetary guidelines and deadlines while managing resources.
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders and mentor staff.
