Job summary

AAF Flanders in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the filter production area, monitor work orders, inventories, and shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery of quality products.

You will coordinate with purchasing, sales, customer service, and traffic to meet company objectives, develop process improvements, and enforce safety policies while guiding a team in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a production environment; 1+ years of leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with mainframe interface.
• Familiar with high volume production scheduling techniques and MRP.
• 3+ years of SAP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of filter and/or assembly procedures.
• Must read a tape measure to 1/64 of an inch.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the filter production area and ensure production goals are met.
• Know status of work orders, production lines, and shipping schedules.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, customer service and traffic to fulfill objectives.
• Monitor raw material inventories and communicate with purchasing to prevent stockouts.
• Schedule new product introductions into the manufacturing plan.
• Develop improvements to the production process and implement changes.
• Distribute and coordinate picking tickets with traffic; ensure changes with stakeholders.
• Coordinate intercompany product transfers and provide feedback on production goals.
• Enforce safety policies and coach/ develop direct reports.
