Job summary

Ambient Enterprises’ Sharpe Heating & Ventilation division in Orange, CA, seeks a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations for custom fan assemblies and dampers. You will manage production schedules, coach staff, ensure safety, quality, and delivery timelines while driving continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing or production experience with leadership roles.
Experience managing schedules, workflows and personnel in manufacturing.
Understanding of production processes, inventory, quality systems and safety.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production operations to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
Supervise and develop production staff, fostering a positive environment.
Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand.
Monitor workflow, staffing, and equipment utilization for efficiency.
Ensure compliance with policies, safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales on materials and priorities.
Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory; address shortages.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction.
Track production metrics and prepare reports on productivity and downtime.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure equipment is maintained.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee development.
