Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking a Plant Manager to provide direction and leadership for a manufacturing facility, driving production goals, and optimizing labor efficiency and product quality. You will oversee production leaders and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet customer service targets.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, safety culture, and capital equipment coordination, with a focus on achieving operational excellence and cost efficiency in a dynamic HVAC manufacturing

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 6-8 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Continuous improvement training.
• Lean manufacturing training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect supervision and development of manufacturing engineering, materials, production scheduling, and production leaders.
• Plan, monitor, execute, and communicate daily, monthly, and annual production goals.
• Develop the sales and operations plan to meet financial targets and customer service objectives.
• Coordinate activities among internal departments affecting production processes (scheduling, engineering, production management, shipping, inventory control, sales, and purchasing).
• Monitor variances to plan and adjust capacity (overtime, flex labor) to meet the S&OP plan and improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement activities to enhance KPIs, safety, and team relations; participate in 5S and Safety initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to achieve productivity goals and maximize efficiency for Value Streams and Production areas.
• Define procedures with Materials to ensure proper inventory management and maintain equipment performance.
• Support labor policy knowledge and participate in any applicable labor negotiations.

Education

Bachelor Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field
