Job Summary: North America is a strategic hub for Ultrahuman’s growth, and world-class production execution is essential to delivering our cutting-edge wearable technology. As Senior Production Manager, you will lead and optimize all aspects of our production operations, ensuring efficient scaling without compromising quality or performance. You will oversee high-volume manufacturing efforts, translating innovative product designs into reality through collaboration with our India-based Operations and EMS partners in the U.S. Your focus will be on delivery performance, cost optimization, and quality control, aligning internal teams with our external production ecosystem. Your leadership will ensure that Ultrahuman meets demand with consistency, integrity, and excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ownership of Production Planning, Scheduling, and Execution: Manage the entire production lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to execution at EMS facilities. Forecast needs, develop master schedules, and manage deviations to ensure supply continuity. Strong understanding of capacity planning and resource allocation in an outsourced environment is essential.
  2. Monitoring of KPIs: Establish and analyze KPIs such as yield, on-time delivery, rejection, and scrap rates. Implement data collection, identify trends, root causes, and apply corrective actions to improve operational performance.
  3. Support for NPI to MP Transition: Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth transition of new products into high-volume manufacturing. Participate in design for manufacturability reviews, validate processes and equipment, and meet regulatory standards.
  4. Operational Excellence via Lean and Six Sigma: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and optimize processes. Lead process improvements, value stream mapping, and data-driven decision-making.
  5. Collaboration on Product Ramps and Sustaining Activities: Work with engineering on design changes and product enhancements, and coordinate with supply chain to ensure component availability and address disruptions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are critical.
