Job summary

Virginia Transformer Corp. is seeking an experienced Production Superintendent to lead daily manufacturing operations at our transformer production facility in Rincon, GA.

You will drive safety, quality, productivity and workforce development, partner with planning and engineering, and champion Lean initiatives to improve throughput and FPY. This hands-on leadership role offers growth, competitive compensation, and a direct impact on critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading hourly manufacturing teams in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, workforce management, safety, and quality systems.
• Proven ability to drive operational performance and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Drive execution of production schedules while meeting quality and delivery goals.
• Lead development of supervisors, leads, and production personnel.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Promote continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Address employee concerns and ensure policy compliance.
