Ascent Resources in Oklahoma City seeks a Senior Production Engineer to lead well surveillance, optimization, and production engineering efforts. You will conduct engineering studies, assess project feasibility and economics, and resolve complex production challenges while interfacing with partners, service companies, and regulators.

The role requires broad exposure to asset development, artificial lift techniques, LOE reduction, and meticulous data handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–12 years of professional oil and gas exploration and production experience.
• Experience in well surveillance, optimization, and production engineering.

Responsibilities

• Well surveillance and optimization.
• Conduct engineering studies.
• Evaluate feasibility and economics of proposed projects.
• Resolve existing or potential complex production challenges.
• Asset management planning.
• Workover design and execution.
• Production equipment design and troubleshooting.
• Cost estimating and budgeting.
