Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Columbus is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to drive equipment optimization and capacity planning across manufacturing operations.

You will lead technical analyses, validate equipment performance, and partner with maintenance and quality to deliver reliable production. Responsibilities include evaluating new equipment for launches, overseeing capital projects up to $2M, mentoring junior engineers, ensuring compliance with 21 CFR and FDA guidelines, and

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmaceutics, Engineering, or related science with 5+ years in pharma equipment or 12+ years equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and apply engineering principles.
• Experience leading capital projects and managing scope, schedule, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the assigned production area, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and issues are communicated to staff.
• Analyze equipment capabilities and set up equipment for new product launches.
• Monitor processes and collect data to drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate equipment to increase capacity and upgrade technology.
• Mentor Production Engineers I and II.
