Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks an Engineer II, Packaging to manage lifecycle processes for packaging components and optimize line performance.

You will work cross-functionally with Technical Services, QA, Supply Chain and Regulatory teams to ensure quality, compliance and efficiency on packaging lines. Responsibilities include developing material specifications, creating line trial protocols, reviewing packaging documentation, and supporting production during non-standard

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in packaging engineering or related field.
• Experience with pharmaceutical packaging processes and equipment.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA guidelines, and DEA regulations.
• Ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams and lead process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Represent Packaging Engineering Lifecycle Operations in development and filing of new products; collaborate with development partners.
• Develop packaging material specifications for new or improved packaging components.
• Prepare line trial protocols/reports, SAP master data, and master packaging specifications; support labeling considerations.
• Write line trial reports documenting packaging knowledge to aid future decisions and optimization.
• Provide technical support to production; assess non-standard events and determine next steps; support may require off-shift work.
