Hanwha Q CELLS in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Sr. Production Engineer to support daily manufacturing operations and deliver data-driven decisions.

You will collect, validate, analyze, and organize data into actionable reports and develop production schedules in collaboration with department supervisors. The role emphasizes cross-department initiatives, KPI development, and continuous improvement using LEAN, Six Sigma, and ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of production/engineering experience.
• Fluency in Korean strongly preferred.
• Impeccable math and analytic skills.
• Experience integrating new technology into an existing business environment.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP/MES systems.
• Able to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, Lean/Six Sigma.

Responsabilités

• Work with production management on ongoing reporting and development of analytical tools.
• Identify production issues, analyze root causes and drive resolutions.
• Assist in budget analysis and setting operating goals for productivity, quality and safety.
• Compile and analyze company data for management review.
• Provide production line support including process improvements and troubleshooting.
• Utilize LEAN, Six Sigma, and other best-practice tools for day-to-day problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Lead implementation of manufacturing initiatives, including resource allocation and applying good manufacturing principles.
• Keep records, manage labor costs, coordinate with departments for material availability, staffing, capacity.
• Analyze statistical trends to develop KPIs with internal partners for benchmarking.
• Develop production plans with scheduling, assign personnel, monitor progress, and revise schedules.
• Create mechanisms to improve production and streamline workflow.
• Identify and develop new reporting methods, templates, and tools to drive cross-functional improvement.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
