Job summary

Daikin Group is seeking a Production Engineer 3 to lead continuous improvement of HVAC manufacturing processes, from fabrication to final assembly, and to drive cost-reduction initiatives. Qualifications

• 6-8 years minimum experience in a production/manufacturing engineer role in HVAC or related industries.
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Systems Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, DOE, FMEA, 6 Sigma and DFM/Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Establish continuous improvement goals and execute action plans.
• Lead cost reduction, workflow improvements, and capital project analysis.
• Coordinate engineering changes and new product introductions.
• Mentor junior engineers and operations staff.
• Develop and manage project schedules for launches or design modifications.
• Document designs with cost analyses and engineering change requests.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers to improve HVAC product designs.
